Quick Guide
  • Anime Adventures banner is the main summon system with three versions: Legacy, Special, and Event.
  • Mythical rate is 0.5% on Special and Event banners; every summon feeds the pity counter.
  • Pity guarantee: 400 pulls secures the featured center Mythical on Legacy/Special, 200 on Event.
  • Banner Tiers unlock Shinies and Secret units based on your player level.
  • Save gems: 400-pull pity costs about 20,000 gems (16,000 with VIP gamepass).

How the Anime Adventures Banner Works

The Anime Adventures banner is the summon area in the lobby, located to the left of the Leaderboard. It is where players spend gems or summon tickets to roll for the characters that carry them through Story, Infinite, and Infinity Castle modes. Not every Mythical is worth the investment, so understanding each banner type before pulling is the single most important skill for managing your gem economy.

The game currently rotates three distinct banners, and each follows different rules for cost, featured units, and pity.

Special50 gems (40 with VIP) or tickets0.5%3, hourly refreshEvery hour400 pulls, center unit

Video Highlights:

  • The unofficial Anime Adventures relaunch keeps the same summon costs, including 5 gems per Mythical reroll attempts
  • Nostalgic original character models returned to the banner, replacing copyright-free versions
  • Codes distributed for the relaunch allow free rerolls and unique-tier units on alt accounts
  • Banner display quality is notably worse in the relaunch, with unfeatured units shown by name only
Before You Pull

Gems are a limited resource. Watch a unit showcase or check a tier list before committing to a banner session — not every Mythical performs well in later stages.

Summon Rates and Rarity Chances

Every unit in the pool has a fixed summon chance based on its rarity. Knowing these numbers helps you set realistic expectations before a pulling session.

RarityBase ChanceShiny ChanceShiny (with Hunter)
Rare81.9%0.819%2.457%
Epic16%0.16%0.48%
Legendary2%0.02%0.06%
Mythical0.25%0.0025%0.0075%
Mythical (Special/Event)0.5%0.005%0.015%
Secret1/400,000Unknown, ~0.005%—

Within the Special Banner, the three featured Mythicals are weighted: the center unit has a 50% chance of any Mythical you pull, side featured units 10% each, and unfeatured Mythicals roughly 0.526%. The Legacy Banner gives unfeatured Mythicals a slight edge (0.714%) because Update 19+ units are excluded from its pool.

Luck Potions Stack

A regular Luck Potion, Super Lucky (99 Robux, 2x), and Ultra Lucky (149 Robux, 3x) all stack, pushing the Mythical chance to 0.936%. Luck potions do not reduce pity, and they do not affect the Event Banner.

Global Announcements

Since Halloween 2022, pulling a Shiny Mythical or Secret unit announces it in chat across every server. Update 20.4.1 confirmed the Secret chance at 1/400,000 with no pity attached.

Pity System Explained

Pity is the safety net that guarantees results from sustained summoning. Both Legacy and Special banners build pity toward the center featured unit: each summon adds 1/400 to the bar, and 400 pulls guarantee that Mythical. Pulling any Mythical resets the counter to zero, and pity also resets when the hourly banner refresh swaps the featured units.

The Event Banner works differently: pity triggers after 200 summons using event currency (about 2,000 event currency total), and unowned featured Mythicals are prioritized until you own all three.

1

Check the Featured Units

Open the summon area and identify the center Mythical — that is the unit your pity is building toward. Wait for an hour with a strong center unit before starting.

2

Budget Your Gems

Full pity costs 20,000 gems (16,000 with VIP). Only begin a session if you can realistically reach pity or accept stopping early.

3

Apply Luck Boosts

Use any available luck potions before your first pull. Stacked potions raise Mythical odds without resetting or slowing your pity progress.

4

Summon in Batches and Track Progress

Use quick summon to burn through batches efficiently and watch the pity bar. Stop immediately if you hit the featured Mythical — the counter resets.

5

Reset Discipline

If the hour refreshes before you finish, your pity resets. Plan longer sessions around a fresh banner rotation to avoid wasted pulls.

Pity Reset Traps

Pity resets on three triggers: pulling any Mythical, the hourly banner refresh, and (on Event banners) the end of the event. Never leave a half-built pity bar across a refresh.

Banner Tiers and Unit Restrictions

Banner Tiers, introduced in Update 1.5, gate summon results behind player level to stop alt-account abuse. The system ensures newer accounts cannot snipe Shinies or Secret units before investing real playtime.

TierRequirementWhat You Can Summon
Tier 0Level 0+No Shinies, no Secret units
Tier 1Level 5+Shinies unlocked, no Secrets
Tier 2Level 20+Shinies and Secret units fully unlocked

Legacy Banner

  • Uses Legacy gems (converted or from disenchanting)
  • Excludes Update 19+ units
  • Slightly better unfeatured Mythical odds

Special Banner

  • Full unit pool since Update 19
  • Standard 0.5% Mythical rate
  • 400-pull center-unit pity

Event Banner

  • Event currency only
  • Fixed 3 limited Mythicals per event
  • Fastest pity at 200 pulls
Efficient Strategy

For most players, the Event Banner offers the best value: a shorter pity path, guaranteed unowned units first, and no risk of pulling outdated pool filler.

Summon Session Checklist

Run through this checklist before and during every banner session to keep your gem economy healthy.

Pre-Pull Checklist:

  • Verify the center featured Mythical is worth pitying
  • Confirm at least 20,000 gems saved (or 16,000 with VIP)
  • Reach Banner Tier 2 (Level 20+) for Shinies and Secrets
  • Activate stacked luck potions before the first pull
  • Track the pity bar and stop on any Mythical pull
Showcase First

Search for a recent showcase video of the featured unit before pulling. A visually impressive Mythical is not automatically a strong late-game unit.

FAQ

Q: How often does the Anime Adventures banner refresh?

The Legacy and Special banners refresh every hour with three new featured Mythical units. Pity resets at each refresh, so time long sessions around a fresh rotation. The Event Banner keeps its fixed featured units for the entire event.

Q: How many gems does a guaranteed Mythical cost on the banner?

Full 400-pull pity on the Legacy or Special banner costs 20,000 gems, reduced to 16,000 with the VIP gamepass. The Event Banner pity is cheaper at roughly 2,000 event currency for 200 summons.

Q: What is the Mythical summon rate on the Anime Adventures banner?

The standard Mythical rate is 0.5% on both the Special and Event banners (0.25% on older base rates). The featured center Mythical accounts for 50% of any Mythical result, while side featured units take 10% each.

Q: Can I summon Secret units from any banner?

Secret units require Banner Tier 2, meaning player level 20 or higher. Their base chance is 1 in 400,000 with no pity, and any Secret pull is announced globally in the Roblox chat.
